The Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, Bwari Branch, Abuja has expressed their unalloyed appreciation to a senior member of the Bwari bar, Sir Monday Adjeh for his timely intervention in paying the practising fee and branch dues of 40 young Lawyers.

The forum made this known in an appreciation message sighted by BarristerNG and signed by the secretary general of Bwari YLF forum, Ogbamgba Benjamin Esq.

The Forum noted that such good gestures to young lawyers especially with the economic crisis caused by COVID19 will not go unnoticed and called on other senior lawyers to emulate Sir Adjeh.

The appreciation message reads: “On behalf of the Young Lawyers Forum, NBA Bwari branch – Abuja, we wish to appreciate Sir Monday Adjeh , for once again heeding to the advice of the chairman of the branch at the last general meeting by picking at random names of 40 committed Young Lawyers of the branch to pay their practising fee and branch dues respectively. We remain indebted to you for this kind gestures for heeding to the plea of the members of the forum who personally asked for assistance in this difficult period.

“It is a fact that the covid 19 pandemic really shook the world and affected the world economy, the practice of lawyers in general and also, the 14 days lock- down in Abuja made all hope of some members of YOUNG LAWYERS FORUM Bwari- Abuja; meeting up with payment of practising fee and branch dues seems to be lost considering the fact that the deadline for payment of dues for the year ended by 31 of March, 2020, and that is why the intervention by learned senior Monday Adjeh cannot be taken for granted and we deeply appreciate him.
