Olumide Akpata: Ahmed Alawaye’s Demise Is Indeed Painful
Senior Partner at Templars and immediate former Chairman of the NBA Section on Business Law has expressed sadness at the death of Ahmed Alawaye.
In a statement issued this morning, he said “The news of the death of Ahmed Alawaye is indeed sad news for his family, friends, colleagues, the NBA Ilorin Branch, and for us who are members of the NBA. My deepest sympathies are with everyone who mourns Ahmed on his passing unto glory.”
Mr Akpata also lauded the late lawyer’s contributions to the legal profession and his immediate legal community, while praying for repose for his soul and comfort for his loved ones. He said “Ahmed was a lawyer of great value to the legal profession, who believed that there should be fairness and justice to all. Ahmed served the legal profession in various capacities and particularly gave his all to the NBA-Young Lawyers Forum, Ilorin. He will be greatly missed for his good works, but we can take consolation in the fact that his life here, albeit short, was well lived.
May the Almighty God grant Ahmed eternal rest and peace and also give everyone affected by his death the fortitude to bear the loss occasioned by his death.
With sincere sympathy,
