NBA Lekki Forum Congratulates Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba, Moyo Jubril Onigbanjo, SAN and Otunba Tokunbo Wahab on their well Deserving Appointments
It was indeed multiple honour and trickling sounds of joy in Lagos State yesterday 20th August 2019, in his goodwill message of congratulations by Oladotun Hassan,Esq Chairman of the NBA Lekki Forum on behalf of the leadership and members heartily congratulates and felicitate with His Lordship, Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba on his Lordship’s confirmation as the substantive Chief Judge of Lagos State, while equally herald with the appointment of Mr. Moyo Jubril Onigbanjo, SAN as the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Lagos State by His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, without letting off the Special Adviser on Education’s appointment of Otunba Tokunbo Wahab, another succinctly deserving giant strides, while using this medium to extend our congratulations to all appointees yesterday.
This is indeed a sign great sign of many good things to come, with these crystal achievements of the Governor, it has indeed set the Judiciary on the right part with His Lordship’s nomination and afterwards confirmation of Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba, this shall indeed ursher in accelerated growth and development of the justice sector in Lagos State in consonant with the vision of a greater Lagos of the Governor.
Unprecedentedly, within the little time of His Lordship’s acting capacity, proves more of his indefatigable capacity, tenacity and uncommon zeal for the overall qualitative delivery of a better administration of justice system in Lagos State, owing to His Lordship’s assurance to reinvigorate the old values and prestige, professionalism, etiquette, integrity and service for legal practitioners, and the entire staffs of the Lagos State Judiciary, as well as ensuring the building of stronger synergy between the Bar and the Bench, as we look forward to the accelerated completion and inauguration of the Lekki High Court Building, situate and lying at Addo-Badore Road, Ajah, Lekki, Lagos by the 2020 new legal year.
In the same vein, we are using this medium to solicit the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Mr. Moyo Onigbanjo, SAN to accelerate an unequalled development of infrastructure by building more High Courts Divisons and upgrading of Magistrate courts, as well as building a new horizon on our proposed Palace Courts to handle small and domestic issues, while all Area Commander Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force in Lagos will have Police Administrative Multi Door Courts, in order to reduce over bearing workloads and overbloated file dockets in our courts, with the sole aime of service and support for the justice system, as we look forward to collaborate with your office in addressing other critical areas of synergy and growth in the overall interest of the good people of Lagos State.
While we are expecting more from the new Special Adviser on Education to the Governor to take the issue of adequate funding seriously, projected 25% budget allocation to the education sector and ensuring qualitative learnings in all schools and tertiary institutions, while building more schools and upgrading existing infrastructures, by targeting Information Technology(IT) and vocational training to be inputed in the curriculum of the Lagos state education system, in order to surpass the future as the leading Africa’s world emerging economy.
