Notwithstanding Mr Akinlade’s campaign for Justice and the grave allegation of disobedience to court order against the NBA National Leadership, the Paul Usoro led NBA has refused to respond to Mr Akinlade or release his Branch withheld dues.

Mr Akinlade’s ordeal started when he refused to interfere in a bye election of his branch in disobedience to Mr Usoro’s directive that he used his power as chairman and cancelled the bye election.

A subsequent attempt by Mr Usoro to remove the Ikorodu Chairman through the NBA NEC was halted by a Lagos High Court on the application of renowned human right lawyer, Femi Falana SAN.
