Powerful, Rich, a Lawyer of means, a big name within the Association and a very close friend of the NBA President, Paul Usoro SAN, Olu Akpata is rumored as Mr Usoro’s ‘annointed‘ choice of successor. Mr Akpata, a partner at Templars Law firm, hails from Edo State and is a very successful transactional lawyer of international repute.

Mr Akpata has served the NBA in various ways. He was is immediate past Chairman of the powerful Section on Business Law of the Association and part of the team that organized both 2015 and 2019 NBA National Annual Conferences.
