COVID 19: NBA Ukwa Branch sends palliative to Young Lawyers in the wake of the indefinite suspension of the Court
The Chairman of NBA Ukwa, Elder Chima Ejie have made known the intention of the Branch to send palliative in the form of food items and provisions to lawyers within the Call age of 1 to 7.
This information was communicated to the Chairman of the Young Lawyers forum Calistus C. Onyendoga on Tuesday the 6th day of April 2020.
The Branch Chairman, Elder Chima Ejie requested from the Young Lawyers forum Chairman a comprehensive list of all Young lawyers within the call age of 1 to 7 before the end of Wednesday 7th April 2020 for onward disbursement of the materials that would serve as palliative.
In his message to the Branch and to the Young Lawyers forum Chairman, the branch Chairman wrote;
‘I have listened to the yearnings of the young lawyers and I have contacted some of my executive members and we have agreed on the following palliatives to our young lawyers from 1-7 based on the following criteria
1. Those to receive must have attended meetings of the branch at least twice in the last quarter of last year and at least once in the first quarter of this year. The attendance register and minutes will guide in this respect.
2. They must be financially up to date’
He called on Senior members of the Branch to help in any way they can to see that Juniors are catered for.
