The Chief Registrar of the National Industrial Court, Mr Olurotimi Daudu has declared open the 2-day (18th – 19th February 2020) management retreat organized for Senior Staff of the Court in a bid to promote better and efficient Administration of Justice.

The retreat was held at the Ibeto Hotels, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and was well attended by the senior staff across the divisions of the court nationwide.

The Chief registrar in his welcome address explained that the retreat is meant for management staff to rub minds in a very focused and less distracting environment on areas that will move the court forward in the administration of Justice, urged the participants to feel free to raise issues, contribute to discussions and stressed that no one must be gagged from expressing their candid opinions.

“I want to specifically mention his Lordship the Hon. President, Hon. Justice B. B. Kanyip, PhD, FNIALS for approving the event and indeed providing all the necessary support for hosting this event. In the same vein, I wish to specifically acknowledge the various contributions of their Lordships all Hon. Judges of the court to the success story of the court so far.

“We must see the opportunity of this retreat as a rare privilege to concentrate and brainstorm on ways to take the court to the proverbial ‘next level’.  Mr Daudu stated.

In the same vein, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Olufunke Anuwe while delivering retreat lecture, admonished the staff on the need for harmonious relationship between them and the Hon. Judges of the Court for the greater good of the Judiciary and the Nation at large.
