NBA 2016 Election: Gadzama Closes Case Against AB Mahmoud, 8 others

GADZAMA CLOSES CASE AGAINST NBA & OTHERS CHALLENGING THE OUTCOME OF THE 2016 NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama SAN, the Plaintiff in the above matter before Hon. Justice O. A. Adeniyi of Court 19, FCT High Court sitting in Apo closed his case today, Friday 20th April, 2018.

Chief S. T. Hon, SAN & J. N. Egwuonwu, SAN led the Plaintiff’s legal team.

The 9th Defendant (Mr. A. B Mahmoud, SAN) was represented by a team of Counsel led by Paul Erokoro SAN while the other Defendants were represented by their respective Counsel.

The Plaintiff testified as the Plaintiff’s Witness 6 and was cross-examined by all the Defendants.

The Plaintiff was discharged as a witness after cross-examination by the 9th Defendant’s Counsel, Mr. Paul Erokoro, SAN. The Plaintiff’s lead Counsel, Chief S. T Hon, SAN thereafter informed the Court that the Plaintiff was closing his case.

The matter was thereafter adjourned to 24th & 25th May and 7th & 8th June, 2018 for defence. The Court admonished all the Defendants  to ensure that their witnesses were in Court on the next adjourned dates for their testimony. The Defendants, though 9 in number have a combined total of 4 witnesses.
