Kogi CJ Relocates Kotonkarfe High Court over reoccurring flood

The High court in Kotonkarfe high is to be temporarily moved to it’s former location to allow unhindered dispensation of Justice.
Kogi state chief Judge Justice Nasiru Ajana gave the Indication at kotonkarfe while inspecting the court which has been affected by flood.

Justice Ajana said he would convey the development to the Governor stressing the need for a permanent location for the court in view of the reoccurring flood in the area.

He explained that he has met with the ohiemege Alhaji Abdulrasak Isa kutepa on the issue of getting an alternative land to build the court.

The court premises which are located along Okparakpe Road in the town were completely submerged by water overflowing from River Niger in the early hour of Tuesday.

The High Court Judge, Justice Alaba Omolaye Ajileye and other workers had earlier reported for work on Wednesday but couldn’t gain access to the premise.
