Industrial Court Restrains Peter Ikyagh, 2 Others from taking over IPMAN Secretariat
Abuja – His Lordship, Hon. Justice Olufunke Anuwe of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Sitting in Abuja has granted an order of interim injunction restraining Mr. Peter Ikyagh, Jonathan Agbe and J. P. Emeka (defendants) from taking over the offices, secretariat, assets, accounts and property of the Makurdi Depot of Independent Petroleum Marketers’ Association of Nigeria -IPMAN thatParties are to maintain the status quo and not tamper with the existing peace in the state, pending the determination of the Motion on Notice.
The Counsel to the applicants, Mr. M. P. Anaukyaa Esq sought for an order of interim injunction restraining the Defendants, their privies or agents from parading themselves or acting as the Executive Officers or Caretaker Committee Officers of the Makurdi Deport Unit of Independent Petroleum Marketers’ Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.
His Lordship further directed that the case file be returned to the President of the Court for immediate assignment.
