Imo election: Okorocha missing as INEC issues Certificate of Return to Senators-elect

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Thursday issued Certificate of Return to Senators-elect.

The Commission issued the Certificate of Return at the International Conference Centre, ICC, in Abuja, on Thursday.

However, the name of the Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha is missing from the list of Senators-elect who received their Certificate of Return.

Okorocha had won one of the senatorial seats in Imo West.

Despite declaring Okorocha winner, the electoral umpire said it would not issue Certificate of Return to Okorocha of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as his declaration was done under duress. Dailypost
