Horror: Young Lawyer, Okeya Adeshina, Allegedly Killed by Abuja Vigilante a day after Call to Bar
A young Lawyer, Okeya Adeshina has been allegedly murdered by an Abuja Vigilante yesterday night, hours after he was called to bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Report available to BarristeNG.com stated that the young lawyer lost his life after a disagreement with the vigilante group.
A social media user who is a lawyer and close to the victim shared the story as follows:
This is pathetic: Okeya Adeshina, a law graduate of Ekiti State University and Yola Campus of the Nigerian Law School who was called to the Bar only yesterday is dead.
He was the Vice President of his Law Faculty whilst in school. Report has it that he was maimed to death by some Vigilante men in Abuja.
This raises again the level of security or insecurity in the country. We hope the perpetrators of this act do not go unpunished.
Something must be done, no one is safe. #NBAshouldlead
