Bayelsa Government Gives Law School Students N8.2m
The Government of Bayelsa State has paid the Law school fees of 28 indigent Bayelsans at the Nigerian Law School for the 2018/2019 academic session.
In an appreciation letter signed by the President of BALAGRAF, Aluzu Ebikebuna Augustine and made available to BarristerNG, the student expressed their profound gratitude to the state Government and the commissioner of education for their timely intervention.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE TOTAL PAYMENT OF ₦8,260,000.00 TO 28 INDIGENT BAYELSANS AT THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL
Sequel to our letter of appeal dated 26th November, 2018, to the Governor of Bayelsa state through the Commissioner for Education, we formally convey our joy and appreciation on the payment of ₦8,260,000.00 (Eight Million, Two Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira) only to 28 indigent law school students from Bayelsa State origin as assistance for their law school fee by the Restoration government.
The Forum hereby acknowledges receipt of the payment of ₦295,000.00 (Two Hundred and Ninety Five Thousand Naira) only, in each of the account of the 28 indigent Bayelsans following a very transparent process.
We thank particularly, the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Jonathan Robinson Obuebite for his fatherly disposition in ensuring Bayelsa state did not miss out on its slot in the 2018/2019 academic session of the Nigerian Law school due to financial constraint.
